Here is a goodie everyone ought to know when working with these old Honda CA models. The gas tank emblem screws are hard to come by. ebay gets $8.00-$10.00 for four new one's and they are not exact but the threads are correct. If you need screws that fit the emblem mounts on the tank, you can find them in the emblem mount of the rear fender trim of a CA95-1964 to 1966

Resurrecting this thread from the dead... :)
Does anyone else have a spare set of screws for the gas tank emblem they could part with? ('62 Benly)

You can cheat by re tapping the threads in the tank panel and using a standard 4mm (I think) screws. I have several emblem screws, but they are packed away in a semi trailer with my shop & household goods waiting for delivery to their new home. So if you can't find any by mid Jan., let me know.

Ace has some that fit. Make sure your threads are clean; its easy to twist the head right off when tightening screws this small.

Found some 3x8 Metric Counter-sunk screws that threaded in enough to secure the badge. Tried some pan heads, but they were too big. Now I'm taking the sides off, cleaning up the tank & covers, and generally tidying the area up.
