Bought ebay mirrors... don't fit at all?

My 66 CA95 has threaded holes in the lever mounts for mirrors about 1/2" deep.

I bought a set of ebay mirrors for the bike that specifically said CA95.

Not only do they not fit in those holes, they don't fit in the lever bolt holes either.

So what mirrors DO fit this bike?

I bought these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... K:MEWNX:IT

At least I'm only out $30.

Crap repro from Thailand man, sorry. The threads don't match up? or the threaded part is too long and bottoms out?

Diameter is too small and the shaft length is way too long.

The only thing I can think of is to buy some hard grade bolts to fit the mounting location, cut the aftermarket mirrors and weld them up, then grind them smooth. Unless you are going for the stock look. You can't really do anything else. How annoying!

Best thing to do is keep an eye out for mirrors taken from a bike to sell on Ebay or get the part numbers from a Honda manual (available online and stuff) and call around to the few places that still have parts for sale.

Leave that bastard some negative feedback!!

I ended up using them on my 64 CT200. Drilled out the brake lever holes and mounted em up.

Ah nice one. Brings back memories of an older 50cc Honda I used to ride as a kid. And a GPS mounted up on the bars, hehe.
