C92 Cables fit?
C92 Cables fit?
I have a 65' CA95 and was thinking about running lower bars on it to give it that slightly more aggressive look, but the original cables are pretty long and wont fit the ones im thinking of. Ive been through my manual and there are side by side comparisons of the c92 and the Ca95 and the c92 seems to have the bars im looking towards. Now what i was wondering is if the cables from a C92 would work on a Ca95?

I am surprised no one has answered this yet...so I'll give my two cents for an answer.
When I was first first looking for cables several years back; the only ones I could find for a CA95 were the ones labeled "High bar cables" I ordered a set and those things are ridiculously long....I mean 42 inch apes, standing on the seat long. With some routing they ended up working fine except for the front brake cable.
My point with that little story is; what you already have should work fine with smaller bars, my suggestion would be to reroute the cables to take out some of the slack without giving them sharp bends, or if it is just a couple of inches...adjust the slack from the middle of the cable give it a tiny pull away from the bars.
