New Gal Intro

Well... I had one when I was 19, and have looked for another for 30 years. I have a CA95 sitting inmy living room in the dead of winter.

thanks for the welcome, I know the experts are here. Main problem rite now is can't get the lower chain guard off.

Never done a restore before, but am learning a ton! Will try to post in progress photos.
Why does the parts manual have 87 pages and 40 are blank???

Thanks very much gentlemen. I finally got the chain guard off. Lotta crud in there, the plastic chain guide thing was chewed up and rattling around in there.

manual page 33,

So.. Black frame and fenders, silver front fender wing ornament.
brought her home a couple of months ago. At PO house it started instantly with elec starter, at home got in 30 miles of riding before it snowed. It really rides like a dream, amazing!
friend adjusted valves and float, carb was pretty clean inside, no gasket so leaks fuel around top of bowl.
infamous petcock is orig and works fine
have top and bottom chain guards and and bought box of extra parts with the bike. Barter?
seat is perfect
14,000 miles, thats alot
chain and sprockets look good but too much play in chain
gas tank has tiny tiny patch of rust inside
angel wing handlebar bent, (laid down on right side sometime since 1964, grip is chewed up too) so replacing
all lites and horn work
cheng shin tires, not bad shape
EVERYTHING I have removed to clean is in separately labeled ziplock bags.
Cant remove chrome cover plates at the bottom of each fork, Are they steel screws in aluminum cover and they have electro chemical welded themselves together over decades? help please.
Any advice would be appreciated!
