Hard to tell wiz, could be a couple of inches longer but not sure.
If I remember, I'll look in the workshop Sunday to see if I have a seat bracket.
From memory, the bracket bolts across the frame into the top of the aloy brackets that are round the shock mounting points, the holes for the seat are rear of the shock mounting points.

Sam. :)

Well Sam, it looks like my seat bracket was wrong. I took it off and compared it to photos, and it's much too short. Looks like the previous owner converted something off another bike.
As it stands, I cleaned out underneath the seat while I had it off, and I"m pretty certain I'm going to shell out for a solo seat - show off those nice lines

Yeah that seat is huge! I might have an extra seat frame and you could just get it recovered if you need. I have an awesome upholstery guy here near me that has done work for some of my friends motorcycles that turned out impressive. I have 5 seats from my bikes and friends I'm getting ready to take him. I can't wait to see what he does for my seat that goes to my 69 CL-70 Scrambler bike. Your bike looks really good though.

Did you make the move on a new seat yet? Lets see a picture of that machine out of the garage in the fresh air!

Heh, it's fall up here in B.C. (Canada), so it's pretty raining a the moment. In the meantime, I'm waiting for the budget to have a seat-sized lump in it :)

I might also have an extra seat from the CA160 I just bought. But it won't be available untill Feb. or so, as I plan to build a couple of springer solo seats for both the CA95 (building from scratch) and for my new 66 CA160 project.
