No problem as long as the title number matches the frame number. Some states want both engine and frame numbers.

Spokes is correct. None of my Honda engine/frames number match exactly ( I think). Most states though are titling a frame. Press on!

I'm from Ohio and all of my bikes use the frame # as the identifier on the titles. I have 8 hondas from 1965 to 1982 and none of the engine #'s match the frame # .

In most countries, the title is with the frame not the motor and like the guys have said, It's very very rare to find ANY Honda with matching numbers.
The one thing I might be worried about is the year, 68 is very late for these bikes as I think they stopped production in 65/early 66, it could have sat in a showroom unsold for a few years, I have known it to happen.

In the US the CA77 was sold through 1969, so he should be ok.

I have a titled - numbers matching 1968 CA77 . Ohio bike all it's life .

My mistake, the username Benly and the fact that they (the CA95) get reffered to as baby Dreams didn't help. I hadn't seen his other post when I posted.
