Anti Thrust Piece Missing?

I was a little puzzled when I pulled the dynamo cover and didn't find this piece shown on page 35 of the Shop Manual. Is it a piece that was used on the 125 and not the 150?

Of the six CA95 engines ranging from 1962-1965 that I have worked on, I have not seen this part on the inside of the points cover.

Mine is sans that anti thrust bushing as well. I could see a need if the shaft had a lot of slop and moved in and out, or if for some odd reason the spinning would cause the bolt to back out by itself. So perhaps it's a Murphy's law part

Like Chip, I've had bikes and manuals going back to day one and have never seen the likes.

The service manual has an explanation (pg. 34 in "Engine" section):

"To prevent damage by the crankshaft during shipping, a rubber anti-thrust piece is placed between the head of the dynamo rotor clamp bolt and the contact breaker cover at the factory. A caution tag is attached to the starter button. Be sure to remove this rubber piece on new motorcycles before starting the engine"

That would explain why we've never seen one... unless the bike was NOS!
