Oh look at this CB72 Domestic model (Type 2 ignition 360 deg crank) just like mine. :D Mines a lot older than this one though. Cool to see it in black. The paint almost looks dark grey metallic...

Excellent article, thanks. I'm a fan of Honda history and I'll hold onto this article. It still amazes me how many old Super Cubs still run on the streets in Asian countries, doing daily work. It makes me appreciate my little CA102 Super Cub that much more.

Great pictures, too. Would love to visit that museum myself someday.

Yes I remember when I hit my 30 year anniversary with Honda they flew me along with other employees that reached there 30 year annv to Japan for a week. We got the VIP treatment and toured all of Hondas past.

The best company I ever worked for!
