Open up the bracket ends that secure the plug wires. (both sides) Chip away the hard sealant at the coil body where the plug wires enter the coil. Once the sealant is cleaned off, pull the wires out in a straight line.
Buy 7mm snowmobile spark plug wire. (or any solid core spark plug wire) The snowmobile wire can be found on ebay.
Cut the wires to length. Before inserting the wire back in the coil, apply some clear automotive sealant to the outside of the wire about 1/2" high.
Push in the wire and allow the sealant to cure. Resecure the wires in the bracket. You can use your original spark plug caps or get new ones. You can find new plug caps at http://www.hondaminitrail.com or ebay.

always informative Spokes. Let me ask a question though. I just pulled out the old wires and, it appears that, on the coil, the right wire receptacle has a hole in the middle and left one has a wire or something sticking out. Is this right? do I need to trim the casing back and expose the inner spark plug wire to go into the right hole?
