Exhaust Flanges

Post by grubsie »

Ugh!

Don' know if this is the proper place to post this.

In desperate need of 2 exhaust flanges for my CA95. I had taken the exhausts off my bike to bring the mufflers to my friend welding shop so he could take some measurements to fabricate some diffusers that I posted about recently. I went to put everything back on the bike yesterday while waiting on some kind of specs for them. I can't find the exhaust flanges anywhere. I have torn the garage apart with no luck. The Mrs had a yard sale Saturday and the garage was loaded with boxes of crap that she was selling. I think that maybe, somehow, they got mixed with her stuff.

Anyway, if anyone has any, please PM me. I will be glad to pay for them. Can't find any on ebay or anywhere else on the web.

Thanks ByTheLake,

I saw those but do not think those will work. My flanges did not have those collars. I tried the ones from my CA160 but the bolt spread is not correct.

Yeah, you're right ... doesn't appear to be the correct part on eBay. I have no spares, but I'll help with the search.

This one appears to be the correct part, and has the correct part number of 18231-200-010:

A bit pricey ... 26 British pounds each - yikes.

Still pricey at $34:

Ohio Cycle lists them for $28 each:

This site has 4 available, but at $44 each:

I had no idea these cast iron exhaust collars were so costly.

This site appears to have at least one in stock:

That's all I could find for now.

Thanks again ByTheLake,

I am going to get them from David Silver Spares. I remember seeing an article on TV about this guy. It was about him opening up an old warehouse in the US for vintage Hondas. It was very interesting. His business was very successful in the UK and he decided to expand here as a lot of his sales were to customers in the US. I wondered what happened to him. Thanks for the link.

I think I have a set that I won't be using. If you are interested I can dig around for them tonight.

Well, I looked every where the flanges should be, and a lot of places they shouldn't, but I could only find one and the nuts to hold them both on. I know I have the second one someplace but who knows where! You are welcome to what I have.

I've bought from David Silver spares. Website is a little tricky. Assuming you are in the US make sure you search the .com site not the UK site, they look the same. Also, in their search bar enter just the displacement. If you enter CA or CB nothing will come up. Prices are very reasonable.

If you put in C95 or CA95 the search works. Not a ton of parts there but may be helpful.
