Paint colours

Post by Brincliffe »

I have started to rebuild my CA 95 which came in three boxes. Someone had started to paint it and clean it up. The 2 problems I have so far are 1 where is the frame number? and 2 what should the colour (blue ) be as when I cleaned some paint off a lighter colour was underneath and I want to give it the original colour as far as I can. I live in England so any help on import colours, if they were different would help.
Thanks

Can you find anywhere that has not been repainted like inside the head lamp or the side covers. If you are going to paint it yourself, take your sample to your local Autopaint International shop. They will match it for you.
The frame number is on the left hand side as you sit on the bike.It should just be visible above the front end of the chain guard and you need to remove the side cover that covers the tool tray.

Due to the fact you live in England, are you sure you have a CA95 or is it a C95?
It will matter when you come to need certain motor parts.
