Rubber covers for clutch and brake adjusters

Post by 1911tex »

These slip over the knurled adjusters at cable end at handlebar.....were they available for the Benlys? If so, where available? I had one only over the clutch lever adjuster on my '63, but was split open and useless.

I also have a Honda CM200 1980 with the covers in great condition. Went to the ebay CM200 parts site and could not find them...they fit perfectly on the Benly.

Only reason I ask is that these rubber covers really clean up the look of and keep grime out those knurled adusters. I looked at early ad photos of the Benlys and could not tell if they came as original equipment.

I didn't see any rubber covers for the lever-mounted adjusters in the parts manual.

Here is a picture of the covers I am referencing...ByTheLake, I did not see them in the CA95 manual as well, but one torn-up one was on my CA95:

If this does not download properly, the OEM # is 53171-402-700 and it is called a cover handle lever...however, shows for an '80 CM200.
