My CA95 bore measures. Diameter (38.7) depth (3.8) and the outside diameter of the flange on the pipe measures (37.7) Engine and frame made in 1964. Be interesting to see more numbers.

This was very cool. Can't believe the detail of the garages. Gave me a trip back in time. I think the guy copied the first shop I ever worked in. The tin signs, white tool board, big converted drill press, south bend lathe. (Ours was grey not green :-)

How cool thanks for posting!

63 rebuild, Restore update

Rebuild restore update. 8/8/12

There has been progress. So far it’s going good. No major rust or mice nest.

Engine came out fine after I got the mounting bolts loose. They were put on to stay. PB over night and with a large cheater they came loose. No visible rust just tight. Have to dig up the ...

Rancher , if it was my motor ,I'd slip a piece of pipe over the shaft and slowly bend it back in shape . The shaft is supported at both sides of the case .

Thanks Kartgreen and Larzfromarz that's what I ended up doing to get it out. It has a s bend in it. So I'm going for a straight one from ...

Smithers I'll take that deal. Let me know where to send $$. I'll be replacing the shaft seal. If you or anyone has a favorite place for CA95 seals please let me know.

Thanks, Ranchman

Oh wow that sounds like the club right there. That's funny. You all have to join together for a photo shoot sometime. Yours is one of the top muscle cars I want to have someday. Just to keep original for cruising. You have the 351 under the hood? 3spd auto?

I hope you find one someday. They are ...

Thanks Larzfromarz,
I've read though many of the the post made here and get a good positive feeling from all involved.

Smithers I'll try and get some more pictures for you. I've had the mustang a lot longer than I've had the Benly :-) It's all original. Right down to the AM radio.
If all goes ...

Thank you spokes,

I think it's being a pain because it's bent. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything.

I looked no weld. I think the background is out of focus.
I'm thinking your right it's been rebuilt. The clutches look new also. Funny it was rebuilt then sat for all those years ...
