Gentlemen (who still read this):

It is with great regret that I am informing you it has become time to sell my CA160. Apparently I did not have foresight enough to know with one 1.5 year old kid and one due in December that I would have neither the time nor the money (or the garage space) to wrap ...

Honda C110 Cub Ignition Coil

All,

I have an IgniteAce Ignition Coil for Honda Super Cubs with the following model nos.

C110
C110S
C115
C115S

I bought a CA160 from a guy who was also selling a C110, and he gave me all the spare parts since I bought mine first. Therefore, I have a new ignition coil. I could take some pictures ...

Spokes, thanks for the wire/boots.

So I'm looking for the coil by means of following the plug wires back up. It seems like it's mounted somewhere in the frame. Any ideas on how to get back in there?

Also, I was putting my new battery in when, as I was twisting the battery to put it in the battery ...

I called an Autozone and they have the wire, but not the caps.

I just called the website below which is CHP out of Tyler, Texas. The gal on the phone had no idea what I was talking about and told me she couldn't help me. I'm assuming I want the following (info based on the CT70 page):

Spark Plug ...

Dad was here, so we bought a few tools I didn't have then went to work. Did all regular maintenance stuff: changed oil, set points, adjusted the timing, changed the plugs.

I pick up the battery Monday (if it actually comes in, was promised yesterday), but after toying around, it seems the spark ...

Where does one pick up an o-ring kit like that? I'm going to be tearing apart my CA160, but before I do I would like to have all replacement gaskets and o-rings without selling my kids to get them.

I went to a Batteries Plus this past weekend and bought a battery. It was not available off the shelf, and it wasn't a Motorcross brand, but it was the 6N12A-2D part number. The guy behind the desk explained a lot about the system to me, but it was still a little rough. He provided another option (I ...

My co-worker still has my tank. He said he ran into a couple snags, but he's not a quitter.

Anyhow, I'll have to update with a picture once I have the tank back.

Thanks for the info on the coating. I will look into that as well.

I know probably the only two others who will read this are Smithers and Spokes, but in the event people are interested:

I'm currently fighting leaks in my tank. S&S have helped me in the CA95 forums, and I'm having a co-worker weld up some gear on my tank. He said hopefully Monday morning he'll ...

Fair enough. The Meguiars cleared up most of the rust on the interior at least that I could see. I might still put an inline fuel filter.

My coworker also mentioned that he was thinking about welding the four mounts in place. Does anyone see any issue with that? I don't, other than making sure it's ...

Thanks for all the info. I checked ebay, and there doesn't seem to be anything up for sale right now, although I'll keep my eye on it.

I have a co-worker that mentioned he has done some motorcycle tank welding in the past, so I might have him try to chase the leak. What are your thoughts on this ...

Ok, Spokes, here's the deal. I learned two things about my tank while doing the "rust treatment". Again, mind the Blackberry pictures. My wife and I are trying to figure out how to cashflow replacing our busted one.

1) What's missing in the first picture?

2) There's a pinhole leak in the rear of ...

Ok, so this weekend (maybe tonight?) I plan on ridding my tank of rust. I bought some Meguiar's Chrome Cleaner and BBs.

Here's my question: once I shake, rattle, and roll the BBs and dump any pieces of rust that will have broken loose, A) How do y'all typically plug any and all holes? B) what is ...

If anyone is still interested, you have two other brand/model choices for 6 volt batteries with the proper terminal position and screw configuration for the CA95 & CA160

1. Motocross Brand Original Equipment Battery-6 Volt 6N12A-20. I bought mine at Batteries Plus. Off the shelf for the CA95
2 ...

Everything seems to be in place, but I have two questions as of now.

1) What size spark plug wrench should I use? I have two, but neither work. I think it's 18mm, but I have no idea. I'll search the CA95 forum for this in the meantime.

2) Gas tank: there are three fuel "outlets". Petcock, and two ...
