Aftermarket pistons
Bought aftermarkete pistons and when they arrived they match the old ones except they have a scalloped bottom edge on the skirt. Does anyone know whether the original CA95 had a straight bottom skirt or a scalloped one? The scalloped one is about half an inch longer than the old one. Thanks

Solved the puzzle. Last person installed the bushing improperly and had some metal pushed around at the back, so it would rotate but not slip out. Ended up cutting threads inside until we contacted the gear shaft which caused the bushing to force out. Now our question is; since the bike doesn't have ...

Removing tachometer bushing
I'm trying to remove the camshaft cover with the tachometer on it. Removed three screws but cover will only "wiggle", won't come out. Manual says remove bushing and gear but doesn't say how. I can rotate bushing with reverse pliers but it won't pull out, seems locked but can't see anything holding ...

Transmission sprocket
The worn sprocket out of my 1964 CA95 engine is a 14 tooth. I see lots of 15 tooth sprockets for sale and read one post that said he liked the operation of the bike better with the 15 tooth. Does anyone have any experience?
