The carb is ok now and i replaced the coil, the compreesion test and the plugs fouling so fast shows it needs at the least rings and pistons. I found those online reasonable.
I'm trying to find someone local to do that job for me.
I'll post a picture soon.

I read his posts but it's not the carb, it's burning oil. Needs a ring job at least, pistons etc at most

I'm the lucky guy that bought Erik's Benly, it's looking good but burning oil so bad the plugs only last about 20 minutes until they're so fouled it stops running

I figured it out, the cable was binding I think because it is too long, I managed to straighten it out enough to get it to work correctly.
Now I just need to get the oil burning thing corrected
THanks

Speedo backwards

The bike didn't have an installed speedo when I got it, just one in parts.
I installed it as you have pictured as the wheel connector was on the bike.
I have no clue how to get it to turn in the opposite direction.

Just replaced my speedo with a used one from Ebay, it is reversed and when going forward, the needle buries to the left? I don't see anyway to reverse it?

CA95 Speedo backwards?

I bought a used speedo on Ebay, just installed it and connected it to the wheel with cable, two problems: the needle goes down when going forward and the cable if too long?
I don't see anyway to connect it so that it turns the right way?
